SANGSAD BHABAN, Feb 29, 2024 (BSS) - The Jatiya Sangsad (JS) today reconstituted seven parliamentary standing committees on different ministries.

Chief Whip of the JS Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury on behalf of the Leader of the House and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina proposed the reconstitution.

Later, the proposals were adopted by voice votes with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.

The reconstituted committees are Standing Committee on the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Ministry of Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs.
