TUNGIPARA, Gopalganj, March 1, 2024 (BSS) - Leaders of Bangladesh Ain Samity today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his Tungipara mausoleum in Gopalganj.

Members of Bangladesh Ain Samity led by its President Advocate Manzoor Md. Shahnewaz and General Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman placed a floral wreath at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara this afternoon.

After laying the wreath, the leaders of the Samity stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of Bangabandhu, the architect of Bangladesh's Independence.

Later, they offered prayer seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975

A special prayer was offered seeking longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.

President of Bangladesh Ain Samity Advocate Manzoor Md. Shahnewaz and Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman signed the visitors' book there.

Former president of the Samity Advocate Mollah Md. Abu Kawser, other leaders of the Samity, officer-in-charge (OC) of Tungipara Police Station Khandaker Aminul Rahman, among others, were present.
