CHATTOGRAM, March 4, 2023 (BSS) - The fire that broke out at the warehouse of S Alam Refined Sugar Mills in the Isanagar area of city's Karnaphuli upazila is under control at 10 pm tonigt.

Confirming the incident, Karnaphuli Fire Service Senior Station Officer Shoaib Hossain Munshi said the fire originated from unknown sources from a godown of S Alam Refined Sugar Mills in the area at around 3:55 pm today and quickly engulfed the whole godown.

On information, 17 units of firefighters including navy and Air force rushed to the spot and doused the fire by 5pm.
