WASHINGTON, March 5, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - The White House on Monday dismissed a leaked audio recording of senior German army officers discussing the Ukraine war as a "transparent attempt" by Russia to create divisions between Kyiv's western allies.

   "This is a bald attempt and a transparent attempt by the Russians to try to sow discord and to try to show division, to try to make it look like the West isn't unified," National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said.
