DHAKA, March 10, 2024 (BSS) – Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ)’s BSS Unit Chief Tareq Al Naser and Deputy Chief Kazi Tanvir Aladin expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Prime Minister's Press Secretary and former Managing Director and Chief Editor of BSS Ihsanul Karim.

BSS Employees’ Union President Mostak Ahmed and General Secretary Faruk Ahmed Bhuiyan also mourned his death.

They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to bereaved family.

Ihsanul Karim breathed his last at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital at 8.00 pm today.

He was 74.

He is survived by wife, a daughter and a son.
