DHAKA, March 14, 2024 (BSS) - The biennial conference of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad (BPUP) will be held on the premises of Dhakeshwari National Temple on Saturday.

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader as the chief guest will join the inaugural ceremony of the conference at 10am. 

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma will inaugurate the conference while Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder and Health Minister Samanta Lal Sen and State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Kujendra Lal Tripura will be present as special guests. 
 
Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad President JL Bhowmik will chair it.

Organization's general secretary Professor Chandranath Poddar said several thousand delegates from across the country will join the conference.
