DHAKA, March 18, 2024 (BSS) - A doa and milad mahfil was held at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) here marking the 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children's Day 2024.

PM's Economic Affairs Adviser Dr. Mashiur Rahman, Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Affairs Adviser Dr. Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury and
Education and Cultural Affairs Adviser Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury spoke it on the occasion.

PM's Principal Secretary M Tofazzel Hossain Miah presided over the function while Director General (Administration) of the PMO Mohd. Ahsan Kibria Siddiqui gave the address of welcome.

The speakers recalled the memory of illustrious life and works of the Father of the Nation, said PM's Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon.

Later, a munajat was offered seeking peace of the departed souls of the August 15, 1975 martyrs.

Doa was also offered seeking divine blessings for peace and prosperity of the country and welfare of the people.
