BEIRUT, March 24, 2024 (BSS/TASS) - The Syrian Air Defense opened fire against aerial targets over southern outskirts of Damascus, the capital of Syria, Al Mayadeen television reported.

The Syrian air defense personnel "managed to thwart the aggressive attack of the Israeli Air Force against the capital, and they shot down several missiles of the enemy," the TV channel informed.

On March 19, the Syrian Air Defense engaged several Israeli missiles fired against Damascus from the side of Golan Heights.
