DHAKA, March 24, 2024 (BSS) - Khalilur Rahman today announced price of beef at Taka 595 per kilogram till the 20th of Ramadan (March 31).

He made the announcement during a press conference titled "Selling beef at affordable prices at the individual level" organised by the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection here.

"I will not slaughter more than 20 cows per day and the meat will be sold from 7am to 3pm only," Khalil added.

The price of beef increased by Taka 100 per kg at the shop of Khalil, a popular meat trader of Khilgaon's Shahjahanpur area on March 21.
