DHAKA, March 27, 2024 (BSS) - Nazma Rahim, mother of M. 
Enayetur Rahim, a senior judge of the Appellate Division of 
the Supreme Court who is now performing the duties as the 
acting Chief Justice (CJ) in the absence of CJ, died of old-age 
complications at a hospital in the city. She was 83.

Nazma Rahim is the wife of late M Abdur Rahim, one of the 
members of draft constitution formulation committee and 
organizers of the great Liberation War.

The Namaz-e-Janaza of Nazma Rahim will be held at a 
mosque near Minister Apartment of Baily Road in the city.

In a message of condolence, Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan 
prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and 
conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan is now visiting the USA.
