DHAKA, April 5, 2024 (BSS) - State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak today said the government will implement a project to turn the Betbunia Ground Station and Bangabandhu Satellite Ground Station into a museum.

He said this while visiting Betbunia Ground Station and Bangabandhu Satellite Ground Station in Kawkhali Upazila in Rangamati.
 
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman inaugurated the Betbunia Ground Station and Bangabandhu Satellite Ground Station on June 14 in 1975.
 
Betbunia Ground Station is maintaining telephone data communication, fax and telex with 11 countries in the globe.
