KYIV, Ukraine, April 27, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Russian overnight missile strikes hit Ukrainian energy facilities in three regions, the country's energy minister said on Saturday, with four thermal power plants "severely damaged," a major energy company added.
"The enemy has once again attacked the country's energy infrastructure. In particular, facilities in Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv regions were attacked. There is damage to equipment," Energy Minister German Galushchenko said in a Facebook post.
In a separate statement, the DTEK power operator said four of its thermal power plants were "severely damaged" in the "massive" overnight strikes.
