DHAKA, April 29, 2024 (BSS) - Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of noted educationist, Awami League advisory committee member and prestigious Ekushey Padak recipient Prof. Dr Pranab Kumar Barua.

In a condolence message, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Prof Barua breathed his last at his own residence in Chattogram on Sunday at the age of 89 years.
