HONG KONG, May 4, 2024 (BSS/Xinhua) - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 hit Tonga Islands at 0432 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.

 The epicenter, with a depth of 30.0 km, was initially determined to be at 20.24 degrees south latitude and 173.87 degrees west longitude.
