CHATTOGRAM, May 5, 2024 (BSS)- Fisheries and Livestock Minister Md Abdur Rahman said new generation is coming forward in the country's livestock sector is very promising.

Terming educated youth should not just run after jobs the Livestock Minister said Green Harvest Agro is developing a complete agricultural culture in the district, the farm inspires him to become self-reliant.

Md Abdur Rahman said these while visiting Green Harvest Agro at Gate No. 2 at city’s Mayor Goli on Sunday.

 The owner of the institution Borhanul Hasan Chowdhury Salehin presented the minister around the farm. The Minister expressed satisfaction with the quality of food and other materials used in the care of the animals in the farm.

 Later, Borhanul Hasan Chowdhury Salehin also gifted various types of dairy products to the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock.
 
The minister said that Borhanul Hasan Chowdhury Salehin, the son of one of the most influential families in Chattogram, could have studied from England and joined more big financial industries.

“But he became a farmer, using his knowledge and talent in agriculture and animal husbandry to make the country self-sufficient. His love for animals fascinated me. His example will inspire the youth of the country. This will benefit the country,” he added.
