DHAKA, May 14, 2024 (BSS) - There is no official Facebook account of Health and Family Welfare Minister Professor Dr Samanta Lal Sen.

According to the official release issued here today, numerous fake accounts have been found on Facebook using the name and photos of Dr Samanta Lal.  A vested quarter and dishonest group of people have opened fake facebook accounts using name of the health minister for doing fraudulent activities.

Such practices of opening fake facebook account using name and photos of Dr Samanta are embarrassing, defamatory and clear violation of law, the official said adding, "These fake facebook accounts are being used to disseminate advertisements, which might create fraudulence activities."

The health ministry urged the people to be aware of these fake facebook accounts to avoid any kind of cheating.

The authorities are taking necessary legal actions against these people who are involved with the incidents.
