DHAKA, May 14, 2024 (BSS) - Iftekhar Ahmed, a former employee of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), died of kidney ailments at his Demra residence in the city on Sunday.

He was 68.

Iftekhar breathed his last at his own residence in city's Demra area on Sunday night, a relative of the deceased said.

He had been suffering from kidney and other diseases for long.

Iftekhar left behind wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

He was buried at a graveyard in Demra following a Namaz-e-Janaza on the night.
