SYDNEY, May 21, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Australia's foreign minister announced two flights would leave for New Caledonia on Tuesday, hoping to bring back some of the 300 nationals stranded in the crisis-hit French Pacific territory.
"We've received clearance for two Australian Government assisted-departure flights today for Australian and other tourists to depart New Caledonia," Penny Wong said in a statement.
