DHAKA, May 24, 2024 (BSS) - Members of the Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU), a
specialized unit of Bangladesh Police has arrested a fugitive accused in four
drug cases from Jatrabari police station area of the capital.

The arrested is identified as Ariful Islam Babu, 29, son of Mojibur Rahman of
village Aithadi Mathabhanga (Sardar Bari) of Matlab Uttar thana of Chandpur
district.

Acting on a tip off, ATU members raided the area and nabbed him around 6.45
pm on Thursday, said Mahfuzul Alam Russel, superintendent of police, media
and awareness wing of ATU today.
