DHAKA, June 03, 2024 (BSS) - Sensible mother is one who can understand and act in the interest of her children—and in the process she becomes a successful mother. Behind every success story lies the silent sacrifices of mothers. The story of a great mother will be told here who did everything for her children through her indomitable will power and efforts.

 Her innovative ideas, taking up of crucial responsibilities and inborn qualities made her succeed in educating her children well. She is Khoshnahar Begum of Chattogram who reached the peak of a successful mother by educating her 11 children overcoming the family's obstacles and other problems. 
 

She has given up her personal interests, hobbies and pleasures for the sake of grooming her children extraordinarily and establishing them well in the society. Thanks to her qualities of a great woman achiever and work effectiveness.
 

Khoshnahar is a successful mother of seven sons and four daughters and every child is established in the society.
 

Of the eleven children, three are BCS cadres, one businessman, two are working in Japan and the rest four are students at different universities.
 

The Women and Children Affairs Ministry has awarded Khoshnahar as a successful mother in 2022. Former Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni handed over the Joyeeta Padak-2022 at a function.
 

Khoshnahar said her first son Md Khabir Uddin Ahmed is now a successful businessman. He (Khabir) started the business after passing MA, she added.
 

Her second son Md Khorshed Uddin Ahmed is now living in Japan after passing BBA and MBA from Osaka University of Japan while third son Engineer Md Sahab Uddin is also living in Japan after passing BSC and MSC from Osaka University in Japan.
 

Fourth son Engineer Dr Md Rakib Uddin did his MSC and PhD degree from a university of the United States after passing BSC Engineering from BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology). Fifth son Dr Md Iftekhar Uddin is now at Nabinagar Upazila Health Complex of Brahmanbaria. He did his MBBS from Sylhet Medical College.
 

Her sixth child Halima Jahan is now Assistant Police Super after passing BCS while seventh daughter Asma Jahan is now assistant commissioner after passing BCS and now discharging her duty as executive magistrate. She did her MSS from Dhaka University.
 

Eighth daughter Nazma Jahan Sarker is now studying in Masters in Social Science Department from Chattogram University and ninth son Saiful Alam is now doing MBBS from Chattogram Medical College.
 

Her tenth son Ashraful Alam is doing BSC from a university in Dhaka while eleventh child Saysha Jahan Sarker is now a student of third year of Law Department of Dhaka University.
 

Khoshnahar said the path to become a successful mother was not so easy. “I’ve struggled throughout my whole life to establish my all children. It is really a matter of great joy and contentment for every parent to educate their children well.”
 

She also extended her thanks to the government to encourage successful women and mothers for their outstanding contributions in different sectors of the society.
