planted on the bank of Brahmaputra river located at different areas of Urya
union under Fulchhari upazila here very recently.

The saplings were planted as part of 100 working days' priority action plan
of Bangladesh Forest Research Institute (BFRI) Chattagram.

As the land of different areas including char Kabilpur of the union are very
suitable for bamboo saplings, Regional Bamboo Research and Training Center in
Domar, Nilphamari under the BFRI selected the unions for the bamboo planting
earlier, accordingly, the saplings of bamboo were planted in the areas.

Parishad Chairman Golam Mostafa Kamal Pasha and members of the Parishad were
present during the inaugural session of sapling plantation.
