BERLIN, June 9, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Germans began voting as polls opened Sunday for EU elections in the bloc's most populous nation and largest economy.

Around 60.9 million Germans are eligible to cast a ballot, with those as young as 16 allowed to vote for the first time as the age limit is lowered from 18.
