DHAKA, Sept 26, 2021 (BSS) - Renowned physician Professor Dr Habibur Rahman Chowdhury passed away while undergoing treatment at a city hospital in the early hours of Saturday.

     He was 83, said a press release today.

     Dr Habibur, a surgery and orthopedics specialist, was laid to eternal rest at Banani graveyard in the city following his Namaz-e-Janaza at Banani Jame Mosjid yesterday afternoon.

     He obtained his MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College in 1965 and earned FRCS degree in 1972.

     Dr Habibur practiced at different hospitals in London till 1987. After returning home, he served the countrymen until his death.
