BOGURA, June 13, 2024 (BSS) – Robbers broke into a single-storey IFIC bank Sub-brunch building, located at Matidhali area, through the roof and looted Taka 29.40 lakh in the early hours of today.

Confirming the matter to BSS, Bogra Sadar Police Station Officer-In-Charge (OC) Saihan Oliullah said that the theft took place between 3.00am and 3.30am as no security guard was present there.

After knowing that the money was stolen from the vault, the IFIC Bank officials informed police about the matter this morning, he added.
   
The OC said that Dhaka CID team and Bogura police are probing the theft incident together.
