DHAKA, Jun 13, 2024 (BSS) - Hamidul Islam, vice-president of Dimla upazila Awami League unit of Nilphamari district and former president of Khagbari union AL passed away today while undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College and Hospital.

He was 70.

He left behind wife, two sons and one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Hamidul Islam.

In a condolence message, Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and convoyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
