iDEA, S2S Ventures sign MoU for startups' development

DHAKA, June 13, 2024 (BSS) - The Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) Project of the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and the Student to Startup (S2S) Ventures Limited today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding the startups across the country.

iDEA Project Director Muhammad Anwar Hossain and Founder and Managing Director of the S2S Ventures Limited Ashikur Rahman Rupok signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at the iDEA Project office at ICT Tower in the city's Agargaon area, said a press release here.

Senior Consultant Md Ataul Islam, Consultant and Head of Communications Shohag Chandra Das and Lab Operations and Training Consultant Abul Kalam Ahsanul Azad of the iDEA project, and Program Coordinators Puja Sen Gupta and Niloya Ghosh of S2S Ventures Limited were present at the function, among others.

The MoU was signed in line with the steps taken by the iDEA Project to accelerate the expansion of its activities at the grassroots level including the development of startups across the country.

As per the MoU, the two organizations will jointly work to decentralize the startup ecosystem across the country. They will take different programmes, including arrangement of training, mentoring, and campaigns, to enhance the skills of startups to boost the entrepreneur culture in the country.
