DHAKA, June 18, 2024 (BSS) - The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has removed 100 percent waste of sacrificial animals slaughtered on the second of the Eid-ul-Azha today in the city corporation areas.
 
"A total of 4,009 tonnes of waste was disposed of in 927 trips by 5pm today," said a DNCC press release here.
 
Earlier, the DNCC started removal of sacrificial animal waste at 2pm on the Eid Day (Monday) and removed 100 percent of waste from all wards of the city corporation within six hours at 8pm on the day.
 
A total of 10,374 tonnes of waste from all wards of the DNCC was disposed of in 2,101 trips on the Eid Day.
