DHAKA, July 1, 2024 (BSS) - A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has fined seven business institutions Taka 14.50 lakh for producing, storing and selling adulterated cosmetic, electric cable, battery and mobile manufacturing from city's Bangshal and Karaniganj areas.
 
Assistant police super and assistant director (Media) of RAB-10 M J Sohel confirmed it to BSS today.
 
He said a mobile led by RAB Headquarters Executive Magistrate Md Mazharul Islam conducted the drives on Sunday around 12pm to 11.30pm in city's Bangshal and Karaniganj areas and fined.

During the drive, the mobile court fined Johnson Baby Lotion Factory Taka 1.50 lakh, Mayur Detergent Powder Taka 1.50 lakh, M.C.V. Telecom Taka 50,000, Glory Jafran Beauty Shop Taka two lakh, Fahim Cable Taka two lakh, A.R. Enterprise Taka five lakh and Sunsilk Dab Shampoo Taka two lakh.

RAB source said the mobile court also seized and destroy adulterated cosmetic of Taka 2.50 lakh.
