DHAKA, June 28, 2021 (BSS) - The fourth meeting of Cabinet Committee
to celebrate the golden jubilee of the country’s independence in a
colorful and befitting manner was held today.

The meeting was held at the conference room of the Ministry of
Liberation War Affairs in the capital this afternoon with Liberation
War Affairs Minister and Committee Chairman AKM Mozammel Haque in the
chair, a ministry press release said.

The meeting discussed the implementation of various events throughout
the year in line of the approved plan to celebrate the golden jubilee
of independence.

The meeting laid emphasis on the use of virtual platforms if necessary
in organizing events if the current situation does not improve.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of
Liberation War Shahjahan Khan, State Minister for Culture Affairs KM
Khalid and Secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs Khwaja
Mia, among others, took part at the meeting.

Besides, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Md Tajul Islam,
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Foreign Minister A K Abdul Momen,
State Minister for ICT Division Junaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for
Public Administration Farhad Hossain and Chief Coordinator of the
National Implementation Committee to Celebrate the Birth Centenary of
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Dr Kamal Abdul
Naser Chowdhury, among others, joined the meeting through virtually.
