DHAKA, June 28, 2021 (BSS) - Bangladesh police today formed a seven-member enquiry committee to investigate on Sunday's explosion in the city's Moghbazar area.
Additional Police Commissioner of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will lead the committee as president and an ADC from the CTTC DMP Bomb Disposal Unit as member secretary, said a press release of police headquarters this evening.
The other committee members include: a special superintendent of police from the forensic division of the CID, a special superintendent of police from the CTSB, an additional superintendent of police from the anti-terrorism unit, a co-commander of the APBN, and a deputy chief explosives inspector from the explosives directorate.
The investigation committee has been asked to submit its report within seven working days.
Earlier, a five-member committee has been formed by the fire service and a three-member committee has been formed by the explosives directorate in the incident.
