TUNGIPARA, Gopalganj, July 11, 2024 (BSS) –   The chief consultant of Smart Bangladesh Taskforce Executive Committee (SBTEC) at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Md Mostafizur Rahman today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

After laying the wreath, the chief consultant stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.

Later, he offered prayer seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu, Bangamata, martyred members of the Bangabandhu family and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975.

A special prayer was also offered for longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.

The chief consultant of SBTEC also signed the visitors' book at the administrative building of Tungipara Mausoleum Complex.

Tungipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Moinul Haque, and the family members of Smart Bangladesh chief consultant Md Mostafizur Rahman, among others, were present.
