DHAKA, Sept 29, 2021 (BSS) - A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been 
signed between Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Center (CReLIC) of 
Local Government Engineering Department and Institute of Water and Flood 
Management (IWFM), an institution of Bangladesh University of Engineering and 
Technology.

  Additional Chief Engineer and Director of CReLIC on behalf of CReLIC and 
Director of IWFM Dr Shahajahan Mandal on behalf of his institution signed the 
MoU today at the office of LGRD at city's Agargaon, said a press release. 

   CRILIC and IWFM signed the MoU aiming to exchange data, knowledge and 
experience on climate change and to develop and implement joint research 
activities, said the release. 

   They will also work together to develop climate-tolerant infrastructure 
and contribute to implement the Perspective Plan (2021-2041) and the 
Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100. 

   On behalf of IWFM, Assistant Professor Dr Sonia Binte Morshed, Assistant 
Professor Dr Ahmed Istiak Amin Chowdhury, Lecturer Md Enaet Chowdhury and Md 
Sadman Shakib were also present on the occasion.
