DHAKA, July 17, 2024 (BSS) - The Fazil exams of all the Madrashas across the country under the Islamic Arabic University (IAU) have been postponed for an indefinite period, said an IAU release here today.

“Fazil honors first, second, third and fourth year exams-2022 and all the subsequent exams under the IAU have been postponed from tomorrow due to an unavoidable reason”, said the release citing IAU’s exam controller AKM Akhtaruzzaman.

The schedule of the suspended exams will be announced later through a press release, it said.

As per the decisions of the government and the University Grant Commission (UGC), the educational activities of all the affiliated Fazil and Kamil Madrashas will also remain suspended until further notice considering the safety of the students, said another IAU release signed by register Dr Mohammd Kamrul Islam according to approval of Vice Chancellor (VC) on Tuesday.
