DHAKA, July 25, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Air Force Women's Welfare Association (BAFWWA) today distributed food items free of cost to poor and underprivileged people in different areas around Dhaka Cantonment.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday urged all rich/capable people of the society to stand by the poor and underprivileged people in the recent situation of the country.

Responding to the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, President of Bangladesh Air Force Women's Welfare Association (BAFWWA) and Others Women and Children's Club (OWCC) Saleha Khan on Thursday distributed food items free of cost around the Dhaka cantonment.

For that purpose, the president of BAFWWA distributed daily essential food items such as rice, flour, potatoes and oil etc.

BAFWWA Central Council Vice Presidents, BAFWWA Regional Branch Bangabandhu and Bashar vice-presidents, Senior Liaison Officers, BAFWWA Central Council members, BAFWWA Regional Branch Bangabandhu and Bashar secretaries and Air Force officers were present in the event.
