DHAKA, Aug 10, 2024 (BSS) – A Jubo Dal convener of 67 No. ward was hacked to death by unknown miscreants in city’s Demra area.

The deceased was identified as Abu Sayed, 33, a businessman, said in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost Md Bacchu Mia today.

He said the miscreants cut his throat with a sharp weapon in front of Sharulia Oriental School around 11pm on Friday, leaving him critically injured.  He was rushed to DMCH by his family members, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

The body was kept at the DMCH morgue for postmortem.   

A case was filed with concerned police station in this connection.
