DHAKA, August 12, 2024 (BSS) - Major General Md Faizur Rahman has been 
appointed as the Director General (DG) of DGFI (Directorate General of Forces 
Intelligence).

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate confirmed the matter 
in a press release on Monday.

Additionally, Maj Gen Md Nasim Parvez has been appointed as the Commandant of 
Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) and Maj Gen Abdul Motaleb 
Sazzad Mahmud appointed as the Director General (DG) of Ansar and VDP.
