KHULNA, Aug 12, 2024 (BSS) - Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Mihir Ranjan Halder and Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Sobhan Mia of the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) today resigned from their posts.

Both the VC and Pro-VC submitted their resignations to the University Chancellor, saying they resigned from their posts due to personal reasons, according to a press release issued by the Department of Public Relation of the university.

Professor Dr Mihir Ranjan Halder was made KUET VC on September 1, 2022, while Prof Dr Sobhan Mia was made as Pro-VC on November 22, 2022, the press release added.
