DHAKA, Aug 12, 2024 (BSS) - Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz Zaman today visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Jashore to inquire about the officers, JCO and other army personnel who were injured in the attack of protesters at Gopinathpur in Gopalganj.

Later, he visited the activities of members of Bangladesh Army deployed in its camps in Khulna, an ISPR press release said.

The army chief also exchanged views with army personnel of all ranks and give necessary instructions.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 55 Infantry Division and Jashore Area commander of Bangladesh Army, senior military officers of its headquarters, Khulna Divisional commissioner, local senior civil officers, and officers from police, BGB and RAB were present.
