DHAKA, Aug 13, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh police administration witnessed a major reshuffle with the transfer and posting to new work stations of 39 high and mid-range officials today.

Two separate notifications issued by the Public Security Division of the Home Ministry, signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahabubur Rahman Sheikh disclosed the reshuffle this morning.

Additional Inspector General (AIG) Md Tawfique Mahbub Chowdhury of Police Department was transferred to Police Bureau of Investigation, and AIG Mohammad Ali Mia of CID was transferred to Police Department in Dhaka.

Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police (ADIG) Md Anwar Hossain was transferred to APBn and Specialized Training centre, Khagracchari; ADIG AFM Anjuman Kalam was transferred to CID; ADIG Md Kamrul Ahsan was sent to Police Department; ADIG Shahzada Md Asaduzzaman of RRF Chattogram was transferred to Police Department of Dhaka; APBn Khulna ADIG Md Masud Karim was transferred to DMP as Joint Commissioner, Sylhet APBn ADIG Md Faridul Islam and Sylhet Range ADIG Syed Harun-ar Rashid were sent to DMP as Joint Commissioner; and DIG Hasan Mohammad Showkat Ali of BMP, Barisal was appointed as the DMP Joint Commissioner.
