DHAKA, Aug 17, 2024 (BSS) – Mostafa Kamal Majumder and Shaidul Hossain Shahed have been elected president and general secretary respectively of Bangladesh Sangbadpatra Foundation (BDSF).

The 11-member executive committee was formed at a recent meeting of the BDSF held at its Dhaka office, a press release said today. 

Rich tributes were paid to the martyrs of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement at the meeting, the release added.

The executive committee members felicitated Chief Adviser of the interim government, Nobel Laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus and other advisers.

The BDSF demanded the assurance of unabated freedom of the country’s press, the rehabilitation of the family members of the martyrs, and the provision of measures for the treatment of the injured who are currently undergoing treatment in various hospitals and clinics.
