DHAKA, Aug 20, 2024 (BSS) – Gano Forum acting president  Advocate S.M. Altaf  Hossain  and general secretary Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman have strongly condemned and protested the attacks on different electronic and print media.

In a joint statement today, they said anti-discrimination students’ movement has created an opportunity for establishing democracy and good governance in the country. Gano Forum did not expect such attacks on media during the rule of the interim government, they added.   
       
They said the outgoing government created pressure on journalists but the countrymen did not support such attacks on media now.
