KYIV, Ukraine, Aug 23, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi
arrived in Kyiv on Friday for talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky on a
historic visit in which he is expected to push for a settlement to end the
war with Russia.

His arrival was announced by Ukraine's state rail operator which published a
video of him getting off a train in Kyiv, saying it was the "first time" an
Indian prime minister was visiting Ukraine.
