DHAKA, Aug 24, 2024 (BSS) - Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan today said all the public employees have to work to comply with the expectations of the masses. 

"Work to fulfill the expectations of the mass people," she told the public servants in a view exchange meeting at Chunarughat Upazila of Habiganj district on Friday afternoon.

 "A public employee has to be prepared to extend required services to the people round- the-clock and work for the betterment of the people," she said. 

Rizwana, also Water Resources Adviser, said the countrymen have to be informed about the works of the government and its latest developments.
 
"You have to protect the mountains and hills," he asked. 

The adviser asked all concerned to take necessary measures to restructure the local ponds with the help of Water Development Board in Habiganj district.

"Take help from the students and people in this respect," she said. 

Deputy Commissioner of Habiganj district Provangshu Shom Mohan presided over the meeting while Chunarughat Upazila executive officer Ayesha Akter moderated it. 
Concerned officials, public representatives and media personalities were present at the meeting.
