DHAKA, Aug 25, 2024 (BSS) - All the officials and employees of the finance ministry and its different divisions have decided to donate their one day salaries to the Relief and Welfare Fund of the Chief Adviser for the devastating flood victims of the country.

"All the officials and employees of the Ministry of Finance including its Finance Division, Internal Resources Division, Financial Institutions Division, and Economic Relations Division have decided to donate their one day salaries to the Relief and Welfare Fund of the Chief Adviser for the devastating flood victims of the country," an official release said.

Some districts of the county including Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Feni are experiencing devastating flood due to excessive rain and onrush of water coming from the upstream.

People from all walks of life irrespective of their class and creed including students, business community, and various voluntary organizations have been standing beside the flood affected people with various relief and essential items.
