DHAKA, Aug 25, 2024 (BSS) – Officials and employees of Posts and Telecommunication Division (PTD) and its different organizations have donated a total of Taka 1,16,81,653 to support the people affected by the severe floods.

The PTD today handed over 12 cheques of the amount, which was equivalent to one day's salary, to the adviser Md Nahid Islam, said a press release. 

It is mentionable that with the interest of the officials and employees of the PTD, on August 24 a decision was taken to provide assistance to the flood victims donating their one day's salary.
