RANGAMATI, Aug 25, 2024 (BSS)- Adviser of the interim government on Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) affairs Supradip Chakma today said the government would work for implementation of the new hope and aspiration generated in the public mind through anti-discrimination student movement.

He told this at a discussion with representatives of the anti-discrimination student movement at conference room of DC office here today.

Chittagong Hill Tracts Zila Parishad will be reformed and reconstituted comprising the neutral, honest and competent people, he said.

Joint Secretary of CHT ministry Konkon Chakma, Deputy Commissioner of  Rangamati  Mohammad Mosaraf Hossain Khan, Rangamati Police Super Mir Abu Towhid and Rangamati Zone Commander Lt Col Ershad and leaders of anti- discrimination student movement were present, among others.
