DHAKA, Aug 27, 2024 (BSS) –Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a mastermind of drug dealer and his personal assistant with huge amount of Phensedyl from Abdullahpur area in the capital.

The arrested were identified as Bablu Pramanik, 42, son of Mohir Uddin Pramanik a resident of Joypurhat District and Md. Shahid, 23, son of Habinur Rahman in Joypurhat, Assistant Director of RAB-1 Md . Mahfuzur Rahman told BSS today. 

He said acting on a tip of, a team of RAB-1 conducted a drive around 3.45pm on Monday night at Dhaka - Mymensingh Highway Uttara (West) Police Station area in Abdullahpur. 

RAB also seized a total of 336 peaces phensedyl, two mobile phone sets and a private car from their possession. A case was filed with Uttara (West) Police Station in this connection.
