DHAKA, Aug 29, 2024 (BSS) – Officials and employees of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division and different offices under the division have donated a total of Taka 2,964,038 to support the flood-hit people.
 
On behalf of the ICT Division, its officials today handed over six cheques of the amount to Adviser Md Nahid Islam, said a press release.

It is mentionable that with the interest of the officials and employees of the ICT Division, on August 24, a decision was taken to provide assistance to the flood victims by donating their one day's salary.

Earlier, officials and employees of Posts and Telecommunications Division (PTD) and its affiliated organizations donated Taka 1,16,81,653 to support the people affected by the severe floods.

On behalf of the PTD, the officials of the division handed over 12 cheques of the amount, which was equivalent to one day's salary, to adviser Md Nahid Islam on August 25.
