DHAKA, Aug 31, 2024 (BSS)- Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Halima Begum, mother of national football team’s midfielder Biplu Ahmed, said a BFF press release today (Saturday).

Halima Begum breathed her last this morning due to kidney complications while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Sylhet. 

She left behind her seven sons, two daughters, relatives and host of well wishers to mourn her death.

In a message of condolence today, BFF president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin, its vice presidents, all executive members, BFF general secretary, BFF standing committee, BFF officials and employees expressed deep sorrow at the death of Hamida and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
