Vaccination at DU medical centre from tomorrow

   DHAKA, Oct 3, 2021 (BSS) - The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have set

up a temporary vaccination centre for its teachers, students, officials and
employees which will begin tomorrow at the university's Martyred Intellectual
Dr Muhammad Murtaza Medical Centre.

   The temporary vaccination campaign will be inaugurated at 9:30am tomorrow
which will be continued till October 17, said a press release today.

   DU students, teachers and officials and employees will be able to receive
vaccine through on-spot registration with NID or the Identity Card of the
university based on some conditions.

  However, initially, vaccines will be provided to only the people have NID
card, added the release.

   Those who registered for vaccine with the following centers- Dhaka Medical
College Hospital, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital,
Government Employee Hospital and Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and
Plastic Surgery- but did not get the vaccine yet will also be able to get
vaccinated in the campaign.

   Students, who get first doze of vaccine from the mentioned centers, will
be able to receive second doze from university's temporary vaccination
centre.

   However, students who registered for vaccine from other centers will have
to receive vaccines from the respective center, according to the release.

   The drive for second dose will begin from November 1.
